Swede Carl Pettersson and Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño won the two remaining first round games at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Tucson.
The event was in its third day, but Wednesday's freakish snowstorm had put it way behind schedule.
Pettersson set up a second round clash with Rory McIlroy's conqueror Shane Lowry, beating American Rickie Fowler at the first extra hole.

By then the second round was under way and in a meeting of two Europeans Ryder Cup stars Justin Rose won the opening hole for the second time this week, but lost the long second to big-hitting Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts.
Rose then fell two behind when he bogeyed the fifth and could not match his opponent's tee shot to five feet on the next.
Sergio Garcia was level with American Matt Kuchar after four and 2010 winner Ian Poulter all square with Bo Van Pelt after two.

Poulter turned things round against Van Pelt. After a tee shot to three feet on the sixth, his par at the seventh was good enough with his opponent fluffing a chip, and The Ryder Cup ace then pitched close on the eighth to go two up.
New tournament favourite Luke Donald, winner in 2011, made a really poor start against another American, Scott Piercy. He double-bogeyed the first and lost the second as well.
Garcia and Kuchar turned level and Watson moved two ahead of Furyk in a match which included both of them double-bogeying the seventh.
