There are just two events remaining on the Back 9 after this week as the DP World Tour season reaches its climax with yet more international world-class golf.
Held over the Albatross Course at Le Golf National, just two months on from the Olympic Games, hopes are high that France may celebrate a home champion with a host of talent on show.
Matthieu Pavon is leading the way, sat 26th in the Official World Golf Ranking, having claimed his maiden wins on both the DP World and PGA Tours in the last 12 months.
Joining him in the field are Billy Horschel, Justin Rose and Francesco Molinari, who memorably became the first European to win five points from five at a Ryder Cup at Le Golf National in 2018.

Fantasy Insight: In terms of popularity among Fantasy users, Horschel is the most picked player for the second week running in the early stages of selection, featuring in just over 67% of teams.
Next comes Rose, who is making his first appearance at France's national open since 2012 and is selected in just over 60% of squads.
Home hero Victor Perez is then in third at 55%, followed by his Olympic Games team-mate Pavon and 2018 Ryder Cup winner Thorbjørn Olesen.
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Billy Horschel
American Horschel has made no secret of his love for travel and the DP World Tour and his European adventure continues this week at the FedEx Open de France. Do not for one second think he is half on holiday, however. He may have missed the cut last time out at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship but his two previous appearances on European soil were his win at the BMW PGA Championship and a runner-up finish at The Open. He followed that result at Troon with two top tens on the PGA TOUR, where he also has win this year, and the World Number 17 is the highest-ranked player in the field this week.
Form Horse - Niklas Nørgaard
What a season and what a Back 9 it has been for the Dane, who is in the top ten on the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex and on the cusp of securing Dual Membership with the PGA TOUR. He had just one top ten in his first 11 starts this season but has not looked back since finishng second at the Soudal Open. He finished fourth the week after and since his victory at the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, his last two results have been seventh and 12th against stellar fields at the BMW PGA Championship and Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Wild Card - Nicolas Colsaerts
It often feels odd to call a man with a career like Colsaerts a Wild Card but the Belgian is playing largely off invites this season after finishing 155th on last season's Race to Dubai. He is in the field this week, however, due to his performance last time out at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, where he finished just one shot behind winner Tyrrell Hatton, who birdied the 72nd hole. It is also hard to forget he is a winner of this event not that long ago, having lifted the trophy in emotional fahsion in 2019 at Le Golf National. Factor in he is a three-time winner, a Ryder Cupper and now very much fighting to get into the Play-Offs, and there is plenty to make Nico appealing this week.
Looking back - Alfred Dunhill Links Championship
Tyrrell Hatton will have been a popular winner last week as he was the fourth most-picked player, featuring in almost 30% of teams and captained by 1,260 players.
Our Favourite Rory McIlroy finished tied 25th in Scotland, while Form Horse Tommy Fleetwood continued his campaign of consistent results by finishing solo third and Wild Card Grant Forrest also played all four rounds on his way to a tie for 35th on home soil.
