Rory McIlroy
The world number eight won the CJ Cup on the PGA Tour in his last start – his second win of the season. His form has been pretty good since the Olympics and long-time coach Michael Bannon being able to travel to see him in America recently is certainly a positive. He’s a two-time winner of this event on the Earth Course and has a further five top-5s in 10 visits.
Collin Morikawa
The Race to Dubai leader is aiming to be the first American to claim the title. He tops the standings courtesy of winning The Open and the WGC - Workday Championship, as well as a couple of other top-8 performances in majors this year. He’s the best iron player in world golf, a prover big-event player and he notched a T10 in his first look at this course last year.
Sergio Garcia
The 16-time European Tour winner has an excellent record in this tournament, without winning it yet. He’s finished inside the top-10 in his last three trips to the DP World Tour Championship (T6, T9 and T4) and has never finished outside the top 21 in his nine appearances here. His recent form is good with three top-10s in his last five starts.

Paul Casey
The Englishman putted poorly last week but I can’t see it happening again. His game is built for Dubai as we saw earlier in the season at the Desert Classic. The final week with Johnny Long socks on the bag, will they go out in style?
Tommy Fleetwood
Fleetwood has been practicing in Dubai for weeks so will be feeling right at home. He plays his best stuff in the Middle East, winning twice in Abu Dhabi and hardly finishing outside the top 10 around the Earth course. Tommy has not finished outside the top 4 in the last four Race to Dubai season standings. He is currently in 14th position at the moment. So will be focused on getting back to where he belongs. He played steady last week after some time off, the rust has gone now it’s time to win.
Billy Horschel
Billy is looking to be the first American to win the European Tours Race to Dubai. He has an English man on the bag in “Fooch” who has ignited his drive and the pair of them want to finish year inside the worlds top 5. Horschel won the BMW flag ship event so why not go out in style and take the top European Tour player title.
