We take an in-depth look at the equipment used by Ewen Ferguson to win his third DP World Tour title at the BMW International Open.
While the Scotsman has used the same setup for all 16 events this season - driver, 2 fairway woods, 4-9 iron, 4 wedges and putter – he has made numerous changes to his clubs across the campaign.
Starting at the top of the bag, he uses a Titleist GT3 that he switched into at the KLM Open after using the Titleist TSR3 and the Cobra Darkspeed LS earlier in the season.
Ahead of the event in the Netherlands, he also changed his three wood for the third time on the 2024 Race to Dubai, bringing in the Titleist TSR2 after using a Cobra Aerojet LS and then the Cobra Darkspeed LS. His TaylorMade Stealth 2 7 wood has remained in the bag for the whole season.
Moving down to the irons, his Cobra King Tour set – which go from four iron to nine iron – have also gone unchanged.
However, in a further sign of the changes he has made to his bag, he used Vokey SM9 wedges to start the season, then went to Cobra SB wedges before swapping to Vokey SM10 wedges that have 46, 52, 56 and 60 degrees of loft at the Porsche Singapore Classic.
- He has used six different putters:
- Odyssey, Tri Hot 5K Seven S
- Odyssey, 2-Ball Ten
- Odyssey, Jailbird 380
- Odyssey, 2-Ball Ten Armlock
- Odyssey, AI-One Tri-Beam V-Line
- Titleist, SC Tour Only T-5.5 2024 (switched to this putter at the KLM Open)
Since the KLM Open, where he finished tied 27th, his bag has remained the same for his last three events.
Ferguson uses a Titleist Pro V1 ball, from the 2021 range.
