Everything you need to know about the #FinalSeries

Three events, three weeks, three continents – one Final Series. Ahead of the glittering hat-trick of global events to close out The 2016 Race to Dubai, europeantour.com brings you this quick-fire guide.

Final Series

First launched in 2013 and revamped for this year’s season-ending swing, The Race to Dubai Final Series consists of an elite trio of tournaments.

Starting with this week’sTurkish Airlines Openat the Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort in Antalya, Turkey (November 3-6), the Tour then moves on to theNedbank Golf Challengeat the Gary Player Country Club in Sun City, South Africa (November 10-13) before the climacticDP World Tour ChampionshipatEuropean Tour Destination Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai (November 17-20).

With a staggering total of$22 millionin prize money up for grabs over the next three weeks ($7m in both Turkey and South African and $8m in the United Arab Emirates), plus a glut of all-important World Ranking points on offer as the year nears its conclusion, the stakes are high.

The field for this week is78 players, consisting of the top 70 available players from The Race to Dubai; South Africa features72 players, with the top 64 coming from the season-long money list; while the drama will culminate as thetop 60 playersfrom 2016 compete across the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in two weeks’ time.

With the title ‘European Number One’, the coveted Harry Vardon Trophy on the line and a plethora of players looking to unseat Rory McIlroy as Race to Dubai champion in each of the last two years, there also the added incentive of theBonus Pool.

A total of$5 millionwill be divided amongst the leading ten players in The Race to Dubai Rankings as calculated at the conclusion of the DP World Tour Championship, with the overall winner taking home an additional $1,250,000 for his troubles.
