European Tour Weekly 625

Last year at Turnberry the Claret Jug was lifted by American Stewart Cink, ending the dreams of Tom Watson who was looking to become the oldest Major Champion in history. ETW caught up with Stewart to reminisce about his first Major title and to hear his thoughts on returning to Scotland as the defending Open Champion.

As always we will review all of the best of the action from the most recent European Tour event. This week that means a trip to Glasgow for the Barclays Scottish Open. European Tour Weekly will highlight the best of the action from Loch Lomond.

Whilst in Scotland ETW caught up with US Open Champion Graeme McDowell. Graeme created history at Pebble Beach last month when he became the first European to win the US Open Championship since Tony Jacklin in 1970. Graeme’s incredible run of form that also saw him win The Celtic Manor Wales Open has seen the Northern Irishman climb to a career-high 13th in the world as well as becoming the new leader in The Race to Dubai.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
