Andrew Johnston has been withdrawn from the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship after being identified as a contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
The Englishman will remain in self-isolation for the period required under Abu Dhabi Health Authority guidelines, during which he will be supported by the European Tour’s medical staff.
Johnston will be replaced in the field by England’s Richard Bland.
