The European Tour this week officially launches its new mobile phone policy at the Made in Denmark, with fans encouraged to help tell the European Tour story via social media...
Trialled in Ireland and Scotland earlier this year, the new policy has already proven successful and will now be in place at every European Tour event around the world.
The only restriction on fans using their mobile phones to capture pictures is that all mobile devices must be kept in silent mode, while the use of a camera flash is prohibited. The capture of phone video content is permitted in ‘non-competition’ areas of the tournament site as well as designated mobile phone zones.
