European Tour announces partnership with Golf World China

Golf World China is to become an Official Media Partner to The European Tour in China following a three year agreement.

The partnership will help further develop The European Tour brand in China, a country which has now hosted 44 European Tour events following last month’s Volvo China Open.

As part of the agreement, Golf World China will publish an entire section of European Tour content in each monthly edition, giving golf fans in China in-depth coverage of both The Race to Dubai on The European Tour, as well as the latest developments on the European Senior Tour, the European Challenge Tour and The Ryder Cup.

In addition to December’s Hong Kong Open, won by Miguel Angel Jimenéz, and the Volvo China Open, won by Alexander Levy at Genzon Golf Club in Shenzen, The European Tour returns to China twice more on The 2014 Race to Dubai, with two out of the four Final Series events - the BMW Masters and WGC-HSBC Champions - taking place in consecutive weeks in Shanghai at the end of October and start of November.

The Challenge Tour’s inaugural Final Swing also begins with back-to-back tournaments on Chinese soil, with the Shankai China Classic followed by the Foshan Open in October.
