The 2022 DP World Tour season comes to an end this week with the top 50 available players from the Rankings gathering at Jumeirah Golf Estates for the DP World Tour Championship.
Rory McIlroy leads the DP World Tour Rankings in Partnership with Rolex but he has Ryan Fox hot on his heels, with a host of scenarios still possible in the race to be crowned Europe's Number One at the fifth Rolex Series event of the season.

Favourite - Rory McIlroy
The World Number One arrives in Dubai looking for a third win in this event at the end of a season marked by incredible consistency at the highest level. He won twice on the PGA TOUR's 2021/22 season to claim the FedEx Cup for a third time and already has a victory in the new campaign across the pond. He started the DP World Tour season with a tie for 12th in Abu Dhabi and, remarkably, that is his worst finish so far with two seconds, two thirds, two fourths, a fifth and an eighth. His record at this event is equally impressive, with nine top tens from 11 appearances, and it would take a brave person to go against him claiming his fourth Harry Vardon Trophy on Sunday.
Form horse - Ryan Fox
Fox is looking to become the first Kiwi to be crowned Europe's Number One and if anyone is to overturn McIlroy's lead at the top, he looks to be the likeliest challenger. A win at last week's Nedbank Golf Challenge would have seen him hit the front heading into the final event, and only a bogey at the last denied him a place in a play-off. His second-place finish gave him a Tour-leading tenth top 10 of the season, which includes two wins, and took his tally of seconds to four. With three top fives in his last four events, the 35-year-old arrives in Dubai brimming with confidence.
Wild card - Adri Arnaus
The Spaniard has made just one of his last five cuts and did not have his best week at the Nedbank Golf Challenge but has made a useful habit of peaking at the end of the season. He won the European Challenge Tour's Grand Final in 2018, held in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and after finishing in a tie for 28th on his debut at this event, has sealed top tens in his past two appearances. His best golf has also come to the fore in 2022, with a maiden DP World Tour victory at the Catalunya Championship and four other top tens.
