DJ Locksmith to perform at the BMW PGA Championship

DJ Locksmith will perform a DJ set at the BMW PGA Championship, kick-starting the week of world-class entertainment in the Spectator Village when the popular tournament returns to Wentworth Club from September 12-17, with ticket options across the week selling fast – click here to purchase now.

In a tournament first, Locksmith, one of the founding members of UK chart-toppers Rudimental, will perform a DJ set on Wednesday September 13, the first time an act will have performed on the day of the Celebrity Pro-Am, which this year will feature a star-studded line up including Hollywood actor Tom Holland, football star Gareth Bale and England cricket players James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes.

An avid golf fan, Locksmith, aka Leon Rolle, is no stranger to the BMW PGA Championship’s Showstage having performed and electrifying DJ set in 2018 and then with Rudimental as weekend headliners the following year.

One of the highlights of the British sporting calendar, the BMW PGA Championship is the fourth Rolex Series event of the 2023 Race to Dubai, bringing together world-class competitive golf, globally-renowned music acts and celebrity stars from September 12-17.

Locksmith will be the first headliner of the week to perform on the Showstage, with GRAMMY®-nominated producer and DJ Jax Jones performing on Saturday September 16 and indie rock band The Wombats bringing festivities to a close on Sunday September 17, with each act performing after the final putt has dropped.

Tickets purchased for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday include access to each of the live concerts at no extra cost.

Defending Champion Shane Lowry will be joined in the field by fellow Major Champions and Ryder Cup teammates Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy at the BMW PGA Championship later this year.

The BMW PGA Championship Festival of Golf takes place just outside central London, attracting more than 100,000 spectators each year. The G4D TOUR @ BMW PGA Championship will take place at the start of the week, with some of the best golfers with a disability competing for the penultimate G4D Tour title on the iconic West Course on Monday September 11 and Tuesday September 12.

The annual Celebrity Pro-Am will bring together global celebrities and some of golf’s most famous players on Wednesday September 13, in a fun-filled curtain raiser to the main event, which begins on Thursday September 14.

Owners of BMW Group vehicles will once again receive preferred parking benefits, while park & ride and shuttle services from local train stations will be available free of charge to all spectators.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets now to avoid disappointment, with general admission tickets now extremely limited on Saturday and Sunday and various Premium Experience and Ticket+ package options already sold out.
