DID YOU KNOW – US OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
• Fifty nine European Tour Members, a record for the US Open Championship teed up at Pebble Beach Golf Links. The record for European Tour Members in an American Major Championship is 63 at the 2009 US PGA Championship.
• Of the 59, 11 will be maked their debut in the year’s second Major Championship. They were: Arjun Atwal, Gary Boyd, Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Rafa Echenique, Grégory Havret, Mikko Ilonen, Rikard Karlberg, James Morrison, Noh Seung-yul, Louis Oosthuizen and Terry Pilkadaris.
• The course record at Pebble Beach Golf Links is 62 (-10). This was recorded by Tom Kite in 1983 and David Duval in 1997, both in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
