DID YOU KNOW? – THE SENIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY ROLEX
• Roger Chapman will be bidding to become only the second player in history to win the US Senior PGA Championship, US Senior Open and The Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex in the same season. The only person to do this is Gary Player, who won all three in 1988.
• The Alisa Course will be playing host to The Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex for the seventh time. Turnberry will now staged the Championship more times than any other venue. Royal Portrush is next with six.
• Tom Watson, winner of The Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex at Turnberry in 2003, is aiming to join Gary Player (19888 and 1990), as the only players to record multiple Senior Open titles at this course.
• There will be 34 Major Champions competing in The Open Championship presented by Rolex, who have won regular and Senior Majors.
