Thomas Detry set his sights on one day playing solo host at the Belgian Knockout after seeing his 2019 campaign ended in the last-16 at Rinkven International Golf Club.
Thomas Pieters and his family are the promoters of the event, with Detry and another Belgan in Nicolas Colsaerts playing host alongside the 2016 Ryder Cup star.
Bumper crowds have lined the fairways all week in Antwerp, with Detry proving the star attraction on Saturday as he claimed two wins before falling to Malaysia's Gavin Green in nine hole medal match play.
The innovative format has proved a huge hit with players and fans alike since its debut last season, and Detry would love to stay one of its major faces going forward.
"I co-hosted it this year but why not make it my tournament in a few years?," he said.
"It was great, fantastic. Thomas Pieters came out as well and watched me, all the Belgian juniors, Belgian crowd, it's just fantastic.
"At this venue especially, with a tree lined course, when the crowd get going, it's pretty amazing."

The 26-year-old made just one bogey in his 27 holes on day three but only two birdies to Green's three in their last-16 clash.
"I'm very sad, very disappointed," he said. "I played some great golf, I made one bogey the whole day.
"I left one putt short at 17, he made it, that's golf, we move on."
