American Bryson DeChambeau has set his sights on securing his first overseas victory at this week's Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
The World Number Five has won five times on the US PGA Tour and once on the Web.com Tour but is still searching for a maiden European Tour title.
And he would like to add that achievement to his CV this week at a course he has performed well on in the past, having won the Amateur Medal after finishing in a tie for 18th at the 2016 edition.
He said: "It's an honour to be back here and I'm super excited. Dubai is an incredible place that I love coming back to.
"Obviously I played well on this golf course here a few years ago. I didn't putt very well but I think we figured out why that is for this year.
"I'm looking forward to a really good week. The game is in great shape, I'm hitting it well and putting it well.
"I'm honestly just excited to try and capture an international victory. That's really what I want to do this week."
Spectators at Emirates Golf Club this week will see DeChambeau, who is known for his methodical approach to the game, leaving the flag in when putting on the green - something players are now allowed to do following the introduction of new rules for 2019.
He said: "Pin in, is an easy one. It's statistically proven to be a benefit in 99 per cent of situations.
"The only times where I'll pull it out is where if the shadow is right in my line because the flag is moving or there's too much wind and you can hear the flag - pull it back, not a big deal.
"But anything outside ten feet I'm going to leave it in. If I accidentally hit it three feet instead of two feet past the flag, it will stay in the cup. It has a better potential of staying in the cup than with it out."
