In an event cut to 36 holes because of a flooded Royal Durban course on Thursday and Friday, the trio tied on seven under par.

All of them were among the early starters in the delayed second round and had to wait all afternoon to see if anybody could catch or overtake them.

South African Tim Clark had the best chance, but double-bogeyed the 17th when joint leader.

With the lay-out reduced to a par 65 because of the conditions, Jamieson shot an eight under 57, Webster a 60 and De la Riva 61 spoilt by a closing bogey.

De La Riva bogeyed the first extra hole and was eliminated when Jamieson and Webster returned pars.
