Everything you need to know from the second day at The Concession Golf Club.
Brooks was back to his best, Fitzpatrick continued to lead the European charge and there were no end of spectacular shots.
Here is everything you need to know from the second day at The Concession Golf Club.
Koepka in ominous form
Brooks Koepka endured something of a disjointed 2020 campaign, with injury and the coronavirus pandemic disrupting what turned out to be a winless season. However, the 30-year-old looked every inch the four-time Major champion as he took control in Florida. A 66, which included only 25 putts, left him one clear at the halfway stage as he looks to back up his recent victory in Phoenix. “It's nice,” he said. “I tweaked the putting stroke in Phoenix and it's worked well since. I felt like I've been working so hard... I've been out in San Diego training and I'm starting to see those results now.”
Fitzpatrick keeps himself in contention
Overnight joint leader Matt Fitzpatrick remained in the hunt with a three under par 69. The 26-year-old from England goes into the weekend two behind Koepka on nine under. “Just played really solid for the first two days,” he said. “Everything seemed to be working, just scrambled a little bit more today, holed a few good putts to save par. Overall, pretty happy."

Reed shows off short game skills
Most players would already be ruing a dropped shot after finding their ball against the lip of a bunker. Most players aren't Patrick Reed. “I don't get it, the harder the shot the more I get into it,” the American said. “You get those basic ones and it's almost like I hit those to five-six feet but you give me the creative ones and I see those a little easier.”
"That will make a highlight reel."
