Hatton feels chipper, Westwood takes a bow and the Postman delivers.

Everything you need to know about day two in Dubai.

No two days are the same

Tyrrell Hatton has been in terrific form over the last 12 months but even last week's Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship winner proved that no two days are the same in golf. The Englishman carded a three over 38 on the front nine on Thursday but turned that form on its head in his second round as he chipped in for an eagle at the third and holed out from a greenside bunker at the sixth en route to a front nine 30. He went on to card the lowest round of the day with an eight under 64 - 12 shots better than the first round total.

Ian Poulter is nicknamed the 'Postman' for always delivering points at the Ryder Cup and he showed glimpses of his excellence at the tenth. The Englishman was on the fringe of the green at the par five hole, with over 40 feet to the cup but he judged the eagle putt to perfection to kick off his back nine in style.

Westwood was the under performer on the final hole of his playing group as he could only conjure up a birdie at the par five last as Wiesberger rolled in a much needed eagle before Fleetwood matched the Austrian in style.
