Everything you need to know from the second day in Tulsa.
Will waltzed ahead, Matt was listening to Billy, big crowds followed big stars and some fans were on the beach on day two of the 2022 US PGA Championship.
Here is everything you need to know from Friday at Southern Hills Country Club.
Zalatoris powers into narrow lead
Will Zalatoris continued his Major love affair as he carded a brilliant, bogey-free 65 to take a one-shot lead into the weekend. The American has yet to record a victory on either the DP World Tour or the PGA TOUR but has so far come closest in golf's four biggest events. The 25-year-old has played in seven Majors in his career, with four top-tens including a second-placed finish at the 2021 Masters Tournament. After carding his best Major round on day one with a 66, he went one better to get to nine under and lead the way from Chile's Mito Pereira, who carded a 64. "I've kind of had an attitude with the Majors," he said. "I don't want to leave anything, looking back 20 years from now I don't want to regret my attitude or anything like that."
Fitz hails Foster
Matt Fitzpatrick credited caddie Billy Foster after a grinding display in tough conditions left him right in contention heading into the weekend. The Englishman had carded a 68 on day one and while he took one more blow in round two, his performance was debatably more impressive as the wind swirled around Southern Hills on Friday morning. Fitzpatrick carded two birdies and a bogey with 15 pars to move to three under and revealed patience was the key, something he has been helped with by veteran bagman Foster. "I think that's the one thing that I've learnt more and more certainly over the last few years, particularly with Billy on the bag as well, is just to stay patient and the birdies will come, basically," he said.

Not all marquee groups are equal
Let's be honest, we all got pretty excited when Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods were drawn together this week. Well the trio have put on quite a show and the locals have loved it. Look at those crowds.
What a shot
No, not that kind of shot. A picture truly can paint a thousand words.
Oklahoma or Honolulu?
These fellas may not have brought the sun with them but they certainly brought a splash of colour to Southern Hills.
