Everything you need to know from Friday at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
Min Woo Lee gave himself breathing space at the top of the leaderboard and some home favourites starred on day two of the 2021 DS Automobiles Italian Open.
Here is everything you need to know from Friday at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
Migliozzi magic at the seventh
The seventh green at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club provides the players with a stern test of their putting capability and it's fair to say Guido Migliozzi passed with flying colours on day two. This brilliant birdie from 44 feet was the first of three in a row...
What a putt from @guidomigliozzi on 7! 😍#DSOpendItalia pic.twitter.com/kkSC3Zi6fE

Lee leads after 36 holes
Having been locked alongside Henrik Stenson and Kalle Samooja at the top of the leaderboard after the first round, Lee moved out on his own on Friday, following up his opening 64 with a 68 to get to ten under par. And with shots like this in his locker, it's easy to see why he's the man to catch...
No putter needed for @Minwoo27Lee 👏

Molinari hoping for Moliwood reunion at Wentworth
Good friends and Ryder Cup partners Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari played together on Thursday and Friday in Rome, with the Englishman saying "there is probably not another golfer out here that I feel as comfortable with playing so that does add to the ease of playing tournament golf". And local favourite Molinari hopes the duo get to tee it up together again at next week's BMW PGA CHAMPIONSHIP when it will be Fleetwood who has home hero status.
Hopefully I get to do the same with you in England next week 😜 @BMWPGA https://t.co/W1vEq0xXQa

All good things must come to an end
After his fine finish at last week's Omega European Masters and brilliant start here in Rome, Stenson came into his second round without a bogey in 39 holes. Two birdies and four pars over the opening six holes on Friday extended that run to a whopping 45 holes but it would end at the par three seventh after he missed the green with his tee shot and failed to get up and down. What a run from the in form Swede.
