Jorge edged ahead, Drysdale moved closer to ending the drought and Danes maintained momentum on day three of the 2020 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day in Doha.

Campillo gets his nose in front

Jorge Campillo entered Saturday with a share of the lead and by the turn he was three shots ahead. That lead was trimmed to one by David Drysdale and Jeff Winther by the end of play but the Spaniard is looking to draw on his victory in Morocco last season as he seeks European Tour win number two. “I am in a good position for tomorrow but still 18 holes to go," he said. "It is going to be a tough day tomorrow but I am glad with the position I am in right now because I wasn’t playing good, so being leader after three days after the last few weeks is nice. If I had not won a golf tournament already I would have been a little bit nervous coming into tomorrow but since I have won it is a little bit more familiar, so I will still be a little nervous but hopefully tomorrow I can play as good as today and win.”

Team Drysdale looking to win at last

Drysdale is playing his 498th European Tour event this week but has yet to taste victory. He played his first European Tour event in 1999 and five years later married wife Vicky who is now both his manager and caddie. March is a big month for the Drysdales, who both celebrate their birthdays, but after a bogey free 64 on day three left them one shot off the lead - this could be a month for the ages. "It was good fun," he said. "It's my birthday in a couple of weeks so we're getting older together but we're enjoying each other's company on the golf course. The first couple of seasons worked very well. I haven't played the best the last 14 months or so, I've been grinding away, but we haven't fallen out yet."

Great Danes.........again

What a week it has been for Danes on the European Tour. Nicolai Højgaard held the first round lead in Doha and heading into the final round Denmark has two players in the top four. Winther carded a 65 to sit at 13 under, while only a bogey on the last kept Benjamin Poke out of a share of second as he recorded a 66. With Rasmus Højgaard already in the winner's circle this season, it could be a big 2020 for Denmark on the European Tour and the greatest Dane of them all is loving it.

Pablo powers into contention

Pablo Larrazábal claimed European Tour title number five at the season opening Alfred Dunhill Championship and a wonderful 63 on day three put him right in the mix to make it six. The Spaniard made two birdies and two bogeys on the front nine and while an eagle on the second saw him turn in 34, he was still a long way back. He caught fire on the back nine, however, making a second eagle of the day on the 13th to go with birdies on the 12th, 14th, 15th and 17th to get to 11 under and match the lowest round of the week. "I'm very happy and we will see what happens tomorrow," he said. "The pin positions are super tough. It wasn't easy out there. I played very good, I'm happy with the round."
