Everything you need to know from the third round at The Country Club, Brookline.
Fitzpatrick remained on course for a fairy-tale Brookline double while defending champion Rahm kept his hopes very much alive on day three of the 2022 U.S. Open Championship.
Here is everything you need to know from the third round at The Country Club, Brookline.
No putter required for Lee
Min Woo Lee found himself in a difficult spot at the edge of the tenth green but he somehow chipped in for a bonus birdie. Just listen to the roar as the ball crept into the hole...

Fitzpatrick hoping winning memories can give him the edge
Not only does Matt Fitzpatrick possess a share of the lead heading into the final round but he also has experience of winning at Brookline. The in-form Englishman hopes to draw on inspiration from his 2013 US Amateur Championship success on Sunday after a third-round 68 handed him a spot alongside Will Zalatoris at the top of the leaderboard. When asked whether his victory here as an amateur gives him an edge over his challengers, Fitzpatrick said: "I certainly think it gives me an edge over the others, yeah. I genuinely do believe that. It's a real, obviously, positive moment in my career. It kind of kickstarted me."
Rahm looking for U.S. Open double
The co-leaders have the defending champion breathing down their necks, just one shot behind them, after Jon Rahm's Saturday 71 left him on three under. Things could have been even better for the Spanish Ryder Cup star, who birdied the 14th, 15th and 17th to take the outright lead, but a double bogey on the last meant he had to make do with solo third.

Zalatoris goes low
Zalatoris shot the lowest round of the day as this week's host venue bared its teeth on Moving Day, notching four birdies and a single bogey to sign for a 67. He is aiming to go one better at the third Major of the year, having lost to Justin Thomas in a play-off at last month's US PGA Championship.
Scheffler's excellent eagle
World Number One Scottie Scheffler sent the crowd wild as he fired this unbelievable eagle at the eighth...
