Here is everything you need to know from the opening day at Halmstad Golf Club.
Dream day for Melgrati
Carolina Melgrati - remember the name. The Italian amateur announced herself in style on Thursday as she posted a 65 to sit alongside Craig Howie, Matthieu Pavon and Santiago Tarrio at the summit. The highlight of her remarkable first round came at the par-five 11th where she holed from almost 22 feet for an eagle. She said: "As soon as I got the invitation, I said yes, I’m playing because it is great to compete with professional golfers. It is amazing and that is also my dream, so it is coming true.”
Broberg's brilliant finish
Home hope Kristoffer Broberg saved the best until last, making this up-and-down at the 18th to get to six under par. And the locals loved it.
What a way to finish! 👏

And it kick-started her round, with five more birdies following on the back nine as she finished the day one shot behind the co-leaders.
Stenson in good company
Tournament co-host Henrik Stenson enjoyed playing alongside two fellow Swedes at opposite ends of their golf careers on Thursday - 22-year-old Maja Stark, a rising star on the Ladies European Tour, and Peter Hanson, who will call time on his DP World Tour career after this week's event. He said: "Playing alongside Peter Hanson here in his final DP World Tour start before going into retirement, it's great to be out with him. And also to see one of the real up and coming young Swedish players in Maja and she played nicely."
Swede Sörenstam looks the part
Stenson's fellow co-host Annika Sörenstam wore a suitable outfit in her native Sweden...
A pair in fine form 💪
