Here is everything you need to know from Thursday at Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Course.
Bertasio finishes with a flourish
After carding four birdies and no bogeys in a front nine of 31, Bertasio was already riding high on the leaderboard as he reached the turn. But there was much more to come from the Italian, who reeled off four consecutive birdies at the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th before closing his first round with back to back gains on the 17th and 18th to jump to ten under par. That saw him finish the day with a four shot lead over his nearest challenger Adri Arnaus.
Home in 30 to card a 10 under par 61.

Twin 67s for the Højgaard brothers
Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard were among the large group on four under par after they each made five birdies and one bogey on Thursday. That leaves the pair six shots behind leader Bertasio and in a tie for fourth heading into the second round. Nicolai said: "It was a good round. A little bit mixed out there today. I got a good start with a birdie on the tenth hole, my first one today, off running, so that was good. A little bit up and down with some wayward drives and up-and-downs. But I’m pleased."

Arnaus storms into second
When Bertasio set the early clubhouse target of 61, he was six clear of his nearest competitors. But later starter Arnaus would reduce his advantage in the afternoon, with birdies at the first, seventh, 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th moving him up to second place on six under.
After managing that whilst wearing the same outfit as his playing partner Oliver Fisher, the question is, will they be matching again on day two? Here's what Arnaus had to say on the matter... "We did talk about it. What are the odds to just show up like that and play together? We talked about what we’ll wear tomorrow, so we’ll see if it happens again!"
