10 - under par leads the way for Chris Paisley after two days of the rain-interrupted Italian Open.

0 - the Englishman has not made the cut at the Italian Open in his two appearances at this event to date.

0 - Paisley is yet to make a bogey at Golf Club Milano having played 31 holes so far this week.

1 - shot back is Masters champion and Race to Dubai leader Danny Willett, who has five holes of his second round remaining.

12- under par was the combined score of the marquee grouping of Martin Kaymer, Matt Fitzpatrick and Willett at the conclusion of their first rounds this morning.

3- pars were all Brett Rumford made on a colourful second round front nine on Friday that included three birdies, one eagle, a bogey and a double bogey.
