It was a tough day for scoring at Leopard Creek on the second day of the season. Whilst Charl Schwartzel made a statement in his search for a fourth Alfred Dunhill Championship title, many others struggled. Here's the best facts and figures from the day two.

12 - shot difference between Christiaan Basson's first round 64 and second round 76. The South African is four under par heading into the weekend.

0- bogeys in Edoardo Molinari's four under par 68. One of only four men without a dropped shot on day two. However, the Italian still missed the cut after a first round 78.

7- the tricky par three seventh again played the toughest out there, averaging 3.52. The 215 yard par three yielded 11 birdies compared to 47 bogeys or worse today.

18 - Shots for Ooshtuizen, Grace and Luiten on the seventh hole today. Oosthuizen made an eight whilst Grace and Luiten both made double bogey fives.
