D+D REAL Czech Masters day three - What they said

Lee Slattery will enter the final round of the D+D REAL Czech Masters with a two-shot lead after reaching 12 under at Albatross Golf Resort.

Here, we take a look at what some of the chasing pack had to say after day three.

Haydn Porteous (67, -10)

"I played some really good golf out there, especially on the front nine. I was very solid and I think towards the end of the round I started getting a bit tired. I started feeling like McGregor after ten rounds. It was a long day today and I can't be any happier with a 67. To get myself within two is probably a big momentum shift as well in terms of going into tomorrow. The bogey on 17 left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth but to come back and make birdie and get myself within reasonable striking distance is all I could have asked for. It's golf, you've got to take it one shot at a time, stay patient and stay in the present and hopefully by the end of the day I can be victorious."

Jonathan Thomson (68, -7)

"It’s all been a bit of a whirlwind so far I guess. A long old day today as well which you just have to try dig in a bit and keep on going. I am enjoying myself out here, it’s my first experience of it out here and that’s the main thing for me, not the outcome, just how things go. I played great golf out there today. I’m really chuffed with myself and how I handled myself out there. Standing on the putting green and there’s Lee Westwood and a few of the big boys, you know that’s crazy from where I have been over the past couple of years. You kind of learn that you are good enough to compete with these guys and I think that’s probably one of the biggest things I have taken from this week, is actually feeling comfortable in the surroundings."

Julian Suri (68, -6)

"Once again, kind of like I’ve been doing the last couple of weeks I’ve hit it really solid. Probably had four or five putts that just burned the edge, missed a couple of shorties also but the game is all there, I just have to keep giving myself chances and stay patient with the putts tomorrow. Pins I thought were pretty accessible and with the greens being much softer than they were earlier this week, it was kind of a bullseye out there, so you had to kind of go for it a little bit."

Jeff Winther (68, -6)

"I am not really thinking straight at all. I’m so tired, I played 34 holes today on top of being ill, so I just want to sleep. I played solidly. I just didn’t do many screw-ups and I putted really well so that was primarily it so I’m looking forward to tomorrow. I’m always up for the challenge. It’s going to be fun. I did well here last year after 36 holes as well, I was leading with Thomas Pieters but I fell apart on the weekend but hopefully I can make up for that."
