D+D Real Czech Masters - Day three digest

Everything you need to know from Saturday in Prague.

Sami Välimäki and Matt Wallace hit the front, Nicolai Højgaard was an all-rounder, Wil Besseling was putting on a show and Alexander Knappe was back in form on day three of the D+D Real Czech Masters.

Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day in Prague.

Välimäki and Wallace hit the front

Välimäki and Wallace will share the lead heading into the final round after an enthralling Moving Day in Prague. The playing partners started the day two shots off the lead and matched each other blow for blow in carding a pair of 67s to get to 16 under and lead the way by one from Højgaard. The trio - all of whom are looking to impress Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald ahead of him making his six picks in nine days' time - have seven DP World Tour wins between them and the stage is set for a dramatic final round at Albatross Golf Resort. Dutchman Besseling was one of several players to hold a share of the lead on day three and he finished at 14 under, one clear of German pair Nick Bachem and Maximilian Schmitt, England's Todd Clements, Japanese Ryo Hisatsune and Paraguayan Fabrizio Zanotti.

Nicolai with a bit of everything

We all know Højgaard is a star off the tee, sitting inside the top 15 in driving distance at just over 316 yards and third in strokes gained off the tee at 0.85. But his short irons off the tee are pretty smart too.

And so is his scrambling.

He's the full package.

No putter required

Besseling has not enjoyed the best of runs lately, with five missed cuts and two withdrawals in his last seven starts but sometimes this game gives you something back. This is how he joined the lead.

Knappe back in the groove

When we spoke to Alexander Knappe back in March, he had already racked up 13 appearances in the season, playing every possible event and pledging to maintain that run right through until the end of the campaign. But when he finished his 25th event in eight months at the Barracuda Championship, he had made just one cut in 11 starts. He broke his run of playing all possible events by missing last week's ISPS HANDA World Invitational presented by AVIV Clinics and the extra rest looks to have done him good as he has gone 67-68-69 to sit at 12 under. Could he be swapping iron man for silverware on Sunday?
