Ahead of the return of the D+D REAL Czech Masters to The European Tour schedule for the first time since 2011, the event has been lifted by the arrival of the Czech Tourism agency as a sponsor of the tournament.
Golf related tourism has been building in the region for some time now thanks in part to events like the D+D REAL Czech Masters, as well as the D+D REAL Czech Challenge, which makes this an exciting time to play golf in the country.
Petr Dedek, Chairman of the Board for the event Promoters, RELMOST, said: “There will be numerous TV spots broadcast in 130 countries around the world where millions of golf fans will be shown invitation ads to come visit the Czech Republic. We believe this will raise awareness and interest in Czech golf resorts for spectators from abroad.”
Ticket sales for the event have been impressive so far, including interest from across Europe, and with a roll of honour that includes Ryder Cup players Peter Hanson, Per-Ulrik Johansson and Bernhard Langer, it will be interesting to see who follows in their footsteps in 2014.
