Special Features –

General Playability – Generally regarded as one of the finest courses in SA.

Undulating/Flat – First 4 and last 2 holes are very undulating as they are built on sand dunes.

Treelined/exposed – Many trees and shrubs on the course

Water Hazards – Very few hazards

Changes to the Course - Par 3, 15th hole, was re-designed and re-located to prevent flooding problems.

Height of cut - 2.8 mm

Speed/stimp reading – 8’ on Monday

General width and contouring - 25-35 m wide but quite tight in many landing areas

In advance – Very dry generally, however 50mm of rain has fallen in the week prior to the event
