Greens: 60% Bent Grass, 40% Poa
Fairways: Rye Grass and Poa
Fairways
Te fairways are quite narrow in places, although there is a six metre band of semi-rough surrounding them. They will be cut at 10mm.
Rough
There are two bands of semi-rough at 33mm, the rest of the rough cut at 64mm. There has been little growth as of late as the irigation does not reach the rough.
Greens
The undulated greens are generally quite small and should will be running between 10.6 - 11.0 on the stimp.
Course Details
Trees are the feature of the course lining the sides of all fairways. The course will be playing fair as it has not rained for a few weeks, though the moisture from the early morning dew stays all day in the shady areas.
Course Layout
There are quite a lot of dry ditches on the course with undulated fairways on the back nine.
