Fairways
The fairways are wide and cut to a height of 10mm.
Rough
There are varying widths of rough cut at 50mm. Outside this the rough has been left to grow naturally.
Greens
The greens are large with lots of subtle movement and are renowned as a feature of the course. A premium will be placed on hitting approaches to the right part of the green, which will be always below the hole with a stimp reading of 11-11.6.
Course Layout
The course is not that long, but is considered a classic test of golf and the wind could be the biggest determing factor. It is essential to hit the generous fairways to get the necessary control into the firm and fast greens.
Course Details
The tournament layout is a composite of 6 holes from the East course and 12 from the West.
