Course Details
This is a traditional woodland/ heathland course. If players miss the fairways on many holes the penalty will be the trees which line many of the fairways. Otherwise the course for today’s Tour Professionals is quite short.
Course Layout
There will be little run on the fairways so the course will play it’s full length.
Tees and Fairways
Tees: rye /fescue/ smoothstalk meadowgrass; Fairways: rye/ fescue / smoothstalk meadowgrass
Greens
Greens: predominantly bent grass / poa annua. Expected to reach 9.5 by Thursday. Old construction with some wet weather recently they will be quite receptive.
Rough
Rough: rye/ fescue 1.5m of semi at 35mm, 1.5m of intermediate at 70mm, rest of rough at 100mm, however summer temperatures have left the rough very sparse so not much penalty.
