Martin Kaymer and Peter Hanson went round in 65 and 66 respectively on day one at Hilversumsche GC, while Rory McIlroy claimed a share of the first round lead at the BMW Championship in the USA.

Today, Colsaerts - playing alongside European Captain José María Olazábal and Kaymer - surged up the leaderboard to move into a tie for sixth at four under.

Colsaerts collected birdies at 12, 14, 18 and two after beginning his second round at the ninth hole.

The Belgian was four behind Storm, who turned in 34 to reach eight under and had still yet to drop a shot in the tournament.

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño held second at six under, having improved his score by three shots, while Damien McGrane jumped into a share of third with Fabrizio Zanotti and Raphaël Jacquelin courtesy of five birdies in ten holes.

Kaymer had dropped to four under, with defending champion Simon Dyson a shot further back.

Dyson eagled the last yesterday and continued to make headway this morning as he combined four birdies with a solitary bogey.
