Challenge Tour alumni impress at The Masters

Tommy Fleetwood produced his best finish at The Masters after posting a closing 69 to climb into a share of third place at Augusta National Golf Club.

The Englishman, who topped the Challenge Tour Rankings back in 2011, now has a top five finish in all four majors.

Matthieu Pavon continued his stellar start the year too, finishing 12th in his first Masters appearance after carding rounds of 70-73-74-72 for a one over par total.

The Frenchman claimed a maiden victory on the PGA Tour in January and currently sits sixth in the FedEx Cup Order of Merit. His 12th place finish guarantees him a return to the famous layout in 2025.

South Korean Byeong Hun An graduated from the Challenge Tour in 2014 and recorded his best result at Augusta by finishing in a share of 16th alongside fellow alumni and Ryder Cup star Nicolai Højgaard who impressed on his first Masters outing.

2022 US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick finished tied 22nd, and New Zealander Ryan Fox, who had been well-placed going into the weekend following rounds of 69-74, finished in a share of 36th.

South African Erik van Rooyen recorded his best Masters finish to date, successfully making the cut before ending the week tied for 55th.
