Challenge Series takes the fast lane with Fritsch

The 2014 European Challenge Tour season has already had enough twists and turns to match any Hollywood thriller and the Challenge Series returns to television screens this week as the story co ntinues, with Florian Fritsch taking viewers on a day-in-the-life journey of a touring pro who has a fear of flying.

Challenge Series Episode 5

The German drives to every tournament and he takes the Challenge - the innovative and entertaining magazine show of Europe’s second tier tour - on a journey in his car as he continues to take the high road to The European Tour.

Fritsch currently lies in ninth position on the Challenge Tour Rankings and golf fans can tune in to watch his tense play-off battle with William Harrold at the Belgian Challenge Open, which the Englishman eventually won.

Speaking of Belgium, Christopher Mivis also takes the Challenge Series on a tour of his home town Antwerp and discusses the positive effect one former Challenge Tour graduate, Nicolas Colsaerts, has had on golf in the central European nation.

The highlights of Jordi Garcia Pinto’s second Challenge Tour victory at the Najeti Hotels et Golfs Open also feature, while best pals Oliver Farr and Dave Coupland go cruising in Saint Omer in their glamourous car before stopping for dinner at an eatery which does not quite match the glitz of their mode of transportation.

Welshman Farr and his English counterpart travel together but they had to put their friendship to one side when they went toe-to-toe for the Turkish Airlines Challenge, eventually won by Farr, and they both discuss the many mixed emotions of that week.

It is sure to be another enthralling edition of the Challenge Series so make sure to catch it or press the record button when it is shown in the following countries at the times listed. If your own country is not listed, please check with your provider.
