With the Challenge Tour action coming thick and fast in 2014, the latest episode of our magazine show looking at life on European golf’s second tier is here, catching up with the next generation of top golfers at both the D+D REAL Czech Challenge and the Fred Olsen Challenge de España.

Both saw exciting finishes as Frenchman Thomas Linard claimed a maiden win in Carinthia, before Moritz Lampert took title number two on the island of La Gomera.

This episode will have the best of the action from both events, as well as the latest player interviews and features.

D+D REAL Czech Challenge

At Golf & Spa Kunetická Hora, an hour and a half outside Prague, we spoke to Korea’s Byeong-hun An, Australian Jack Wilson – who has been described in glowing terms by World Number One and compatriot Adam Scott – as well as local hero Adam Rajmont, as he finds his feet in professional golf.

Niccolo Quintarelli might not have heard of gingerbread before the week, but he certainly knows what it is now, after he learned how to make some in the Czech Republic. We speak to the Italian about life on Tour and his hopes for the future.

We also have the best of the action as Linard stormed to victory, edging out overnight leader Daniel Gaunt in the final round.

Fred Olsen Challenge de España

Steven Brown is currently in the midst of his first full season on the Challenge Tour, and he takes a two-wheeled tour of La Gomera, while telling tales of Walker Cup success in 2011 and his goals for the year.

Oliver Farr and Antonio Hortal have both won maiden titles so far in 2014, at the Turkish Airlines Challenge and the Challenge de Catalunya respectively, and they preview this latest stop on the schedule. American Gregor Main also talks about his arrival in Europe, hot on the heels of countrymen Brooks Koepka, Peter Uihlein and Brinson Paolini.

Moritz Lampert would go on to claim the title in the Canary Islands, and he talks us through his maiden win at the Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda, as well as the difficulties of travelling on your own round Europe. The best of the action from Spain will also feature, as the German stormed to his second title of the year.
