This week sees the latest episode of the 2014 Challenge Series hit the airwaves, with player interviews, features and tournament action from the Turkish Airlines Challenge and the Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda.
Both saw exciting finishes and maiden Challenge Tour winners in Oliver Farr and Moritz Lampert, and this third episode features all the final day action from National GC and Golfclub Schloss Finkenstein.
As well as the best from the golf, this week’s episode will also feature:
Turkish Airlines Challenge
Interviews with Frenchmen Adrien Bernadet and Cyril Bouniol, as well as the English pair of Andrew Johnston and Andrew Marshall.
Players give us the things that spring to mind for them when thinking about Turkey.
Charlie Ford won the last time the Challenge Tour visited Antalya, back in 2010, and he takes us on a Cribs style tour of his amazing hotel room at this year’s event, while looking back on his previous success, and talking through his hopes for the season.
Denmark’s Lasse Jensen also has a little fun talking about stocks and shares while sunbathing with his laptop, channelling his inner Wolf of Wall Street as he discusses life on The European Tour in 2013, what he learned, and the patience required to be successful on the Challenge Tour.
Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda
Some of the players tell us what they think of when they hear the word Austria – cue talk of schnitzel, skiing and Eurovision Song Contest winner Conchita Wurst!
There are interviews with home favourite Martin Wiegele, as well as eventual winner Moritz Lampert and Frenchman Jérôme Lando Casanova.
Young Swede Jesper Kennegard also speaks about his maiden campaign on the Challenge Tour, playing college golf in America, and his number one ranking on the Nordic Golf League in 2013, all in the slightly unusual surroundings of Minimundus, a model village of the world.
