Challenge Series back with a bang in 2014

This evening sees the return of the Challenge Series, profiling the great and good of European golf’s second tier throughout the season, as well as providing highlights of all the action along the way.

European Tour Race to Dubai Number One Henrik Stenson kicks things off by looking back on former glories in this first episode, recanting tales of the 2000 season in which he finished top of the Challenge Tour Rankings, en route to becoming one of the circuit’s most successful ever graduates.

We look ahead to the new season with the help of some of the 2013 Satelite Tour graduates, all of which have earned their place this season thanks to top five finishes on the Alps Tour, EuroPro Tour, the Nordic Golf League and the Pro Golf Tour.

Good friends Luke Goddard and Sam Hutsby go on an elephant expedition as they look ahead to 2014, while we also catch up with one of last year’s graduates, Nacho Elvira, on the basketball court, as well as profiling Frenchman Edouard Espana.

Highlights from the first two events of the season – the Barclays Kenya Open and the NH Collection Open – will also feature.
