For the first time in the 20 year history of the Challenge Tour, daily highlights from the season-ending Apulia San Domenico Grand Final will be screened to a European audience.
With 20 European Tour cards up for grabs, the hopes and fears of the 45 players competing at San Domenico Golf in Puglia, Italy, will be beamed into more than 15 million homes across Great Britain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
From Thursday evening, viewers in the United Kingdom can tune into Golf Night with Di Stewart and Rob Lee on Sky Sports Two from 7.30pm to catch the action from Italy, which will follow highlights from the Castello Masters Costa Azahar on The European Tour. The Challenge Tour coverage is expected to begin at around 9pm.
For viewers across the Scandinavian region, the highlights show is scheduled to be broadcast by Viasat at 10pm local time.
The highlights package is being compiled by European Tour Productions, who have an on-site mobile editing suite with a crew of 25 staff.
After the opening round of the tournament, Greig Hutcheon of Scotland and South African Branden Grace lead the way on six under par.
