Ben Campbell extended his advantage at the top of the leaderboard to five shots as the leaders got their third rounds started at the Fiji International presented by Fiji Airways.

A brilliant 66 on Friday had put the New Zealander in a commanding position at 11 under and he picked up another shot in his first three holes on day three to stretch his lead.

India's Gaganjeet Bhullar made two birdies in his first four holes to sit in second at seven under alongside Australian Terry Pilikadaris.

Another Australian pair in Andrew Dodt and Jarryd Felton were then at six under, a shot clear of two-time European Tour winner Wu Ashun and Kiwi Nick Voke.

Campbell is playing in just his ninth European Tour event this week and is looking to follow in the footsteps of defending champion Jason Norris, who claimed his maiden crown at Natadola Golf Club last season.

Bhullar made a birdie-birdie start to join Dodt in second and Felton also quickly got to seven under with a gain on the first in the penultimate group.

Pilkadaris had made a birdie on his final hole on Friday to get into the final group and he picked up where he left off, birdieing the first to get within four of Campbell but nobody had yet narrowed the gap to the leader.

Felton dropped a shot on the third and in the group behind him, a birdie from Campbell from 15 feet meant that was six off the lead, with playing partner Dodt making a bogey.

China's Wu and Voke were both level par for the day.

Harry Bateman, Matthew Griffin, Jake McLeod and Anthony Quayle were all four under.
