On a morning of difficult windy conditions at the Northern Ireland Open Challenge in association with Maui Jim Sunglasses, Steven Brown was the closest challenger to Swedish first round leader Joakim Lagergren after the Englishman carded a two under par 69 to move to eight under par for the week, one off the pace.
