The Englishman, who won his second Senior Major at this year's KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, started the day one shot off the pace at nine under par, but took a share of the lead with a birdie on the first hole at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Michigan.

Three consecutive birdies from the fifth to seventh holes saw him take a two shot lead, and further gains followed on the 12th and 13th holes. Brandt Jobe and Tom Lehman reduced the deficit to one stroke, but Broadhurst birdied the 18th for a 15 under par total, securing a two-stroke victory.

This is Broadhurst's second victory in The Great Lakes State this season, having won the Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores in Michigan in May. This is his third win of the year, having also won the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf on the American over-50s circuit.
