British Masters supported by Sky Sports day four - What they said

Paul Dunne produced a stunning final round of 61 to get to 20 under and win his first European Tour title at the British Masters supported by Sky Sports.

Here, we take a look at what some of the chasing pack had to say after a thrilling final day at Close House Golf Club.

Robert Karlsson (67, -16)

"It was good, not good enough but it was good. I played so much better than yesterday. Yesterday was a tough, tough day and I was very, very excited to get off with a 67. Today I played really, really nicely and I put a bit of pressure on him but he just kept going. I was just happy to put a really good final round together when I was finally in the last group for the first time in a hundred years, it feels like. It's been great. I feel that things have been coming a bit closer, I've been putting in a bunch of good rounds. At least this week, I put in two good rounds. In the evening I talked to my coach back in Sweden and I'm like, 'yeah, at least we've done two rounds in a row, at least we've done three rounds in a row'. Things are coming and especially the way things felt on the first tee yesterday and the first tee today. It was like, 'well, this is what I'm playing for and this is where I want to be'. I enjoyed it a lot out there today."

Florian Fritsch (63, -14)

"I'm absolutely flattered, speechless, is what I mean. We talked about this at the beginning of this week to a few of my colleagues. We're looking at a really strong field. The British Masters seems to have really drawn a few of the world's best and, I mean, to be around the first two or three is really thrilling for me, definitely thrilling. I think that's my best finish so far in my career. I just got the putter hot. My driver wasn't that good but I was really lucky, I guess, with all the rain and all the loads of spectators that we've been having. We had a lot of trampled ground and rough next to the semi, so I've drawn a few lucky lies and I guess that's what you need when you have such rounds. I was looking at Challenge Tour for next year. I wasn't even sure what kind of category I would have had and I think that will change dramatically now."

David Lingmerth (66, -14)

"66 sounds good. Can't say I'm unhappy with the way I played today. I think I did pretty well tee-to-green. Didn't make as many putts as yesterday so that was part of the game today where I felt like I was a little frustrated, maybe. Overall, played solid and a lot of guys played really good today. So you really had to make birdies. I didn't make quite enough but, yeah, still a pretty good day. It's been a treat, actually, start to finish. Really pleased with the crowds out here, they came out in bunches and it's been a great tournament to play in and I'm quite happy with the way I performed. Obviously when you're in contention, only two shots behind the lead as I was starting today, you hope you can pull something out and maybe get a win. But didn't quite until the end today but, yeah, still happy. Something to build off."

Graeme Storm (67, -14)

"I'm a little bit disappointed to be perfectly honest. I felt as though I left quite a few shots out there and missed a few putts and what have you. In general, I've had a great week, four scores again in the 60s, and I think a hat-trick of 67 the last three days. I'm pleased with the scoring. I just feel as though I've let myself down on the greens, missing a few putts when they were crucial. I finished third last week and fourth this week. Playing really nicely and next week, the Dunhill, is my favourite week of the year so I'm really looking forward to it. It's been magnificent. The weather hasn't been that great. We had the odd bit of sunshine and the fans have come out and supported. I've had a lot of people supporting me, which has been fantastic and something I'll remember for a long time."
