Brilliant Brooks dominates in Spain

Brooks Koepka made the 2013 Challenge de España his own when he clinched the title by a then-record largest winning margin of ten shots.

The American reached World Number One last year, having defended his U.S. Open Championship and clinched the US PGA Championship, but five years earlier Koepka clinched the lowest winning result of his professional career en route to European Tour graduation.

A month prior to his Spanish success, Koepka claimed his first win of the 2013 Challenge Tour season before continuing on at the Challenge de España with four stunning rounds.

Rounds of 64-66-64-66 for a 24 under par total, including 30 birdies, an eagle and only eight dropped shots, saw the young American win the title by ten shots, ahead of his third win of 2013 in Scotland for immediate European Tour graduation.
