Big rewards for Aces and Albatrosses at Czech Masters

The D+D REAL Czech Masters will mark the first European Tour event to be held at the stunning Albatross Golf Resort and to celebrate, any player who holes an albatross during the tournament will win a trip around the world worth €36,000.

The prize will go any player that cards a two at the par five first hole and is sure to add the excitement for the inaugural edition of the tournament, which is the penultimate counting event for The 2014 Ryder Cup.

Ryder Cup hopefuls Thomas Björn, Jamie Donaldson, Victor Dubuisson and Stephen Gallacher are all in the field for the D+D REAL Czech Masters as Paul McGinley’s team for Gleneagles nears completion.

Not only will golf fans be treated to some world-class golfing action, they will also get to watch out at the opening hole for an unlikely albatross.

There are also rewards to be had at all of the par three holes. At the third, the player to strike the first ace will win a brand new apartment, while at the seventh a luxury watch awaits any player that holes out from the tee.

The 13th hole will be occupied by a first-class Hästens bed all week and any player to claim a hole in one can bring the bed home for a well-deserved rest.

The biggest prize of them all comes at the 16th, where an ace could earn one lucky player a Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG 4MATIC.

Recent history has show a high success rate at all the tournaments organized by RELMOST. There was a hole- in-one at the last three events – both this and last year at Kuneticka Hora and also at the Slovakia Challenge a couple of weeks ago.

“It is an unusual prize at the first hole but we liked the link between albatross and Albatross and it has been fully endorsed by The European Tour,” said David Trunda, the General Director of tournament promoters RELMOST.
