A small number of volunteer marshal positions are available for the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart Golf Links, Inverness which will take place between Wednesday 11
th
July 2012 and Sunday 15
th
July 2012.
Volunteers will receive a £10 voucher for each day that they work. These can be redeemed for food and drink or spent in any of the shops at the event. Volunteers will also have free, allocated parking.
In addition, volunteers will receive the following items depending on the number of days they volunteer:
- 2 days: baseball cap, t-shirt, jacket; complimentary any
one-day
ticket;
- 3 days: all clothing and a complementary
season**
ticket
- 4 or 5 days: all clothing, complementary
season**
ticket and a FREE round of golf at Castle Stuart Golf Links*.
**Season tickets permit access to every day of the event (Wednesday-Sunday). The complimentary tickets can be given to any other family members or friends.
*Tickets for these rounds will be issued in the name of the volunteer and this will be written on the ticket which is non-transferable. You may be required to provide identification when redeeming your ticket. Castle Stuart will set aside three or four days when the rounds must be played. You are encouraged to play in a four ball with other volunteers and where you are unable to arrange this, Castle Stuart reserves the right to place you within another group to form a four ball. If you wish to play with someone who is not a volunteer, Castle Stuart will offer a special rate of £75 per playing partner (maximum of three persons per volunteer), each of whom must play in the same group as the volunteer. These games can be played on any day during October and November 2012 and April 2013, and must be booked through the normal booking process at Castle Stuart.
