To be staged on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 19-22, 2015, the DP World Tour Championship is now in its sixth consecutive year of partnership with the iconic five-star destination, which will once again use its position to support golf in the UAE and promote the sport to international guests and visitors.

The resort’s President and Managing Director, Serge Zaalof, said: “Atlantis, The Palm has enjoyed a hugely successful partnership with the DP World Tour Championship since The Race to Dubai was launched in 2009 and we are extremely proud to be the event’s Official Hotel for the sixth year in succession and on until 2017.

“As the finale of The Race to Dubai, the DP World Tour Championship is one of the biggest golfing occasions on the calendar and continues to feature many of the biggest names in the sport. It is our pleasure to welcome the players and their families for what will be a true celebration of the golfing season and the opportunity to enjoy our world-class resort and its attractions.”

In addition to hosting the competing players and their families, Atlantis, The Palm will also be hosting the ever popular Race to Atlantis and Junior Race to Atlantis initiatives in the build-up to the tournament which takes place on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates on October 20, 2015.

Among the competitors will be VIP guests and clients of Atlantis who will compete for a variety of exclusive prizes including a luxury stay at Atlantis, The Palm, hospitality tickets for the DP World Tour Championship, and, for the first player to make a hole-in-one, a luxury BMW, courtesy of AGMC. Atlantis, The Palm will also host the Championship Beach Party and the European Tour’s end of season Race to Dubai party at Nasimi Beach Club.

Nick Tarratt, Director of European Tour International, Dubai Office, said: “Having Atlantis, The Palm, as our Official Hotel is a popular choice with the players, who get the opportunity to combine the challenge of competing in the DP World Tour Championship with a happy family break away from the golf course.

“We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Atlantis, The Palm ever since the tournament was first staged in 2009 and today they are one of the tournament’s key partners. While the players compete for the title and a share of The Race to Dubai Bonus Pool, their families can enjoy attractions such as Dolphin Bay, Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium. It’s a perfect end to the season for everyone.”
