We have enjoyed a very exciting year since last years European Tour. Appleby Dublin is proud to announce winning two very prestigious awards. To win the award in excellence within the Eastern Region of Ireland was wonderful however to have won the National Retail Store of the Year shows our commitment and passion to what we do.
We are also delighted to share with you some exciting news about our premises in Johnson’s court. We have extended our sales area to bring the shop size to 7000 square feet making it one of Ireland’s largest and most spectacular jewellery showrooms.
This is our fourth year with the Smurfit European Tour. We were told it wasn’t possible but in 2001 Thomas Bjorn proved it was. The Danish golfer won the £100,000 Appleby diamond by being the first professional to achieve a cumulative score of 14 under par on the par 5 holes, at the conclusion of the four tournament rounds.
This year we are inviting the golfers to take up the challenge again. We are proud to introduce the most exciting new diamond cut in the world; the Tycoon cut another exclusive partnership for Appleby Dublin.
We will present this spectacular diamond valued at €150,000 to the first professional to emulate Thomas Bjorns score of 14 under par.
In addition to the above and because spectators are such an important part of the Smurfit European Open, Appleby is giving away a € 3,000 diamond a day to the winners of the corporate hospitality competition.
