Accessibility Information

Keep up to date with the accessibility information at this year's Portugal Masters.

The Portugal Masters is committed to providing a high standard of accessible facilities for all visitors. We will have a team of volunteers working from the information tent in the Spectator Village who can help meet individual needs, however please find further information below:

Parking

Blue Badge holders who are attending the Portugal Masters will be able to park in an exclusive area at the front of Car Park 3. Car Park 3 is located just off the Caminho da Fonte do Ulme, as per the map below and will be clearly signposted from the N125 and surrounding roads.

portugal master accessibility

The entrance route from car park 3 is depicted in the map below as a yellow line. Head along the path and follow signs to the Spectator Village. You will be directed up the right-hand side of the 18th hole. The Spectator Village is located directly behind the 18th Green.

The entrance route is roughly 2 holes long and should you require mobility assistance, please ask at the Entrance Tent and we shall endeavour to help.

Getting Around

Many of the pathways around the Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Course are tarmacked and suitable for wheelchair users – these have been highlighted in red on the map below. However, please be aware that the ground around some holes and particular vantage points can be very steep and some are too dangerous to allow safe use for scooters.

Mobility Scooters

There are no mobility scooters to hire but please feel free to bring your own, to be used at your risk.

Access to Facilities

All tented facilities within the Spectator Village are fitted with ramps for access, as well as all on-course catering facilities at the 6th and 13th Greens respectively. Unfortunately, due to the topography around the 18th Green, the Golfbreaks.com Public Bar is inaccessible to wheelchair users, however beverages can be purchased from all other catering outlets in the Spectator Village.

Toilet Facilities

Disabled toilet facilities are available within the tented village and at the 13th Green on-course catering area.

Viewing Areas

A reserved wheelchair viewing area will be built and reserved overlooking the 18th green.

Assistance Dogs

Spectators with guide dogs or hearing dogs will be welcome at the Portugal Masters.
